Summary of the Series
So, as a summary, Rose grows up with a bond to Lissa, meets and falls in love with Dimitri, Dimitri dies and becomes a strigoi, and Rose chases him down to kill him. It didn't work though, and Dimitri ends up chasing her to kill her. She gets into a relationship with Adrian, and then she and Lissa graduate and move to court. Thats where Lissa turns Dimitri back into a dhampir, and then Rose is framed for murder of the queen. She then goes on the run with Dimitri because nobody really believes he it truly a dhampir again. He and her find Lissa's half-sister, using the help of Ms. Sonya Karp, and make Lissa the new moroi queen. Adrian and Rose break up, and then her and Dimitri get back together. Theyfind the real killer of the queen, Lissa's boyfriend's aunt, who raised him. Happy ending for all. :)
Vampire Academy: Book 6: Last Sacrifice
This is the last book in the series. Rose is busted out of jail by her dad, Christian, Dimitri, Lissa, Adrian, and Eddie. Dimitri and Rose run off together. They team up with Rose's friend from Siberia, Sydney. Rose begins getting Victor Dashkov in her dreams, and he vows to help her. The only way that Rose can make the court wait on the new Age Law requiring dhampires to graduate at age 16, is to bog down the elections. She has her friends nominate Lissa to be a candidate for queen.
Meanwhile, Rose, Dimitri, and Sydney go off to find Lissa's half-sibling. Lissa didn't even know she had a half-sibling, and neither did her half-sibling. The track that leads them to her half-sibling leads them to and old teacher, Ms. Karp. Rose had promised a man that had been helping them the last few books, that if she found Ms. Karp, his lover, she would save her. (Ms. Karp had turned strigoi to escape from the spirit insanity.)
Victor and Robert meet them there, and Robert stakes Ms. Karp, turning her back into a moroi. She then takes Ms. Karp to find Lissa's half-sibling, and when they get there, they find out it is actually Jill Mastrano, and old friend from the accademy. The guardians flock down on Dimitri and Rose again and Rose gets hurt on the escape.
Eventually, Rose and Dimitri located Ms. Karp again, got Jill back, and accidentally killed Victor Dashkov. Things heat up in a hotel between Dimitri and Rose again, and she realizes she REALLY has to break up with Adrian.
The next day Sonya (Ms. Karp), Rose, Jill, and Dimitri meet Adrian and Milhail in a parking lot. Then, Adrian sees Dimitri and Rose kiss and he knows it's over. Rose then goes to a hotel, and talks to an alchemist. She now has figured out who the queen-killer is.
She takes Jill and presents her to the crowd of moroi as Lissas half-sister, and announces that the killer is....... Tasha Ozera! Lissa's boyfriends aunt! Tasha then took Mia Rinaldi hostage, but Mia fights back. Tasha had framed Rose because then she would have Dimitri to herself. Tasha then aims a bullet at Lissa, and Rose jumps in front of it. The bullets take her down...
She awakes in a suite. Dimitri is on the bed next to her, and he tells her that he was assigned as Christans bodyguard. She is one of Lissa's bodyguards, Lissa won the elections. Even though she didn't want to. Dimitir is now able to have a life with Rose, Tasha was put away, and everything was right again.

Rose and friends all graduated and moved from the school to the palace, or as they call it Court.
In this book, Rose and Eddie and Lissa bust Victor Dashkov (the guy who kidnapped and tortured Lissa in the first book) out of jail because he was the only one that could locate his half-brother, Robert. They need Robert, because Oksana said he had restored a strigoi from the dead, and he was a spirit user, meaning Lissa could do the same. He tells them how he did it, then him and Victor escape.
Dimitri makes many attempts at Rose's life, because he realised that Rose would never join him, s he must kill her. Lissa later is kidnapped by Dimitri, and everyone from the court runs to the rescue. They cannot let the last Dragomir be killed. This draws Rose out, exactly what Dimitri wanted. Then Lissa stakes him.
With a spirit charmed stake! He is brought back to life as a dhampire, srying in Lissas arms.

Rose travels to Siberia, Dimitris home. While in Russia, she meets an alchemist named Sydney. She finds out alchemists are pretty much a group of humans that covers up vampires existance, even though they hate them. Rose goes on a strigoi killing rampage, killing every strigoi she sees.
Then, Rose finally gets to Dimitris hometown. She finds his family and tells them that Dimitri is now a strigoi. They say he is dead and the town they live in, a town of dhampirs, hold a funeral for him. This is where Rose meets her slippery snake gangster of a mafia father, Ibriham. Nicknamed Abe. They call Rose Dimitri's wife, and soon she sets off with a group of rouges to find Dimitri.
Meanwhile, Lissa is back at the Academy making friends with a spirit user names Avery, even though they think shes an earth user.
Dimitri finds her. He takes her hostage, very much strigoi. He feeds off her for a while, and one day, she finally comes back to her senses. She runs from Dimitri and kills many strigoi in her path, he had been keeping her in a house filled with strigoi.

Rose then hitchhikes into a town where a spirit user names Oksana helps her save Lissa, she entered Lissa's head and had Lissa punch Avery from trying to push Lissa out a window.
Rose goes back home and faces the greif of killing her lover. She is excited to see Lissa again though, and has to give Adrian a chance. The book ends with finding a stake and a note in the door that was from Dimitri...

Vampire Academy: Book 3: Shadow Kiss
Lissa is beginning to practice her magic, along with Adrian, who moved to their school even though he is 20 to practice his magic with Lissa. He is the only other spirit user they knew.
Adrian doggs Rose, asking her to go out with him at every oppurtunity. But she can't she likes Dimitri too much.
Rose's training continues with Dimitri and soon some sexual tension builds up, even though Tasha Ozera likes Dimitri and wants to have kids with him. As it turns out, when Lissa is using her Spirit, she's actually using her own sanity. Rose and Lisa had had a bond for a while, since Lissa brought Rose back to life in a car crash that killed her parents and brother, effectively wiping out every Dragomir other than Lissa. That made Lissa princess, being the oldest (and only) member of the Dragomir family. there are 12 royal families altogether in Moroi society.
Rose begins using her powers so see ghosts, especially her dead friend Mason.
At the end, you find out Rose had been draining the insanity from Lissa and after Rose gets mad and almost kills some people trying to hurt Lissa, Dimitri brings her to an out-of-the-way cabin to clean up and calm down. They end up doing that, but then they make love too, as their built-up sexual tension bursts.
Later, they leave the cabin and then begin seeing strigoi coming up to them on the school grounds. Dimitri stays to fight them with his god-like fighting powers and sends Rose ahead to warn the school. she does so, and there is a HUGE fight on the school grounds. Many people die, and in the end, some are taken captive. Rose partnered with Christan after they saved eachotther many times, and they effectivly dispached many strigoi together. Rose, her mother, and Dimitri convince the dhampirs to go and find the strigoi and save the kidnapped people.
They eventually go, and they save them, but a few more people die and Dimitri gets left behind. Rose is dying on the inside, but she must go back with the others. The next day she finds out Dimitris body wasn't found. They had to have turned him into a strigoi. On Rose's 18th birthday, she turns in papers to leave the school. Adrian stops her at the door and trys to get her to stay. She won't, so he makes her promise that when she comes back, she will give him a chance.
Rose leaves then, off to go and find her lover- to kill him.

Frost bites when a group of strigoi attack a house that Rose and Dimitri had driven to to help train Rose there. Everybody in the vampire world is freaking out, because that had never happened before. for christmas break, everyone in the school goes to a massive winter cabin for break.
Rose challenges her friend Mason, another dhampir to a skiing contest. Mason likes her though, and won't back down. They challenge, and Mason ends up getting hurt.
While in the cabin, Rose begins to fall in love with her mentor, Dimitri. he is only 7 years older than her, and a russian dhampir. But a woman from his past that is in love with him keeps asking is he wants to have kids with her. She is Tasha Ozera, Christians aunt, and she was in love with Dimitri. Rose goes to sit outside and contemplate this, where she meets Adrian Ivashkov. Adrian immediatly tries... seducing her. she liked Dimitri too much though, and doesn't fall for Adrian even though his great-aunt Tatianna is the queen. And then everyone hears there was another attack. Mai Rinaldi finds out her mother was killed in the attack.
The next day, Rose finds out that Mai, Mason, and Eddie have gone missing. she finds Christian, and even though she doesn't like Lissas boyfriend very much, she teams up with him to help track down their missing friends in Seattle.
Rose and Christian find Mason, Eddie and Mia, they were trying to track down the strigoi and kill them. but then the srtigoi find them. They are all tied to chairs in a basement, Eddie being fed on periodically by a strigoi. Christian helped Rose escape then they fight the strigoi and all escape out the door, besides Rose.
Mason, with the crush on Rose and the heart of a hero, rushes back in to save her from the 2 strigoi that caught her. immediatly he is killed. Rose ends up killing them and then crying for Mason and pretty much waking up in her moms arms. Rose and her mom had never been close, especially since Rose's mom given her to the school. Rose didn't even know her dad.
The book ends there, with a reunion in tears for Mason...
